Work Day

My knees are screaming – YOU SHOULD HIRE YOUNG PEOPLE TO DO THIS KIND OF WORK!!!  But I don't listen to whiny knees. But then my back chimed in...and then my elbows.

I'm hard headed, but I must say the yard looks marvellous for tomorrow's fish fry.

We have enough fish to feed a multitude. I'm actually not who all is coming because as I said yesterday the guest list is expanding exponentially.

One of my jobs is to document the occasion. I feel like I'm up to the task if my whiny knees will cooperate
.

  1. If your whole yard looks as nice as the spot in the photo, you did a great job! Hope the fish fry goes well (And your knees cooperate)! Sounds like fun.

  5. One of life's pleasures is friends and family over for a feast and fellowship. One of life's reminders is pain associated with the past birthday! ;-) Imma thinking life is good down in Alabama!!
I remember something about a banjo also.
    Pretty picture!

  10. Umm...,,a fish fry!
Love them, but we haven't had one or been to one in a long time.
Wondering what kind(s) of fish you are frying?
Here in south GA it would be a combination: bass, bream, and catfish.
And, the obligatory hush puppies and grits. Yum. Good eating!
I'm so sorry to hear that you are having pains. I pray that they will leave you....sooner than later!
    Take care of you.
Thank you for your visits to my blog. They mean a lot to me. I don't post often, but I still try to keep up with my dear blogging friends. I count you among them....
