Here in Iowa it's a bit too far away, but I did enjoy it when I lived on the west coast. I was raised near the sea and eating fresh fish and shell fish was what I called heaven on earth. I love the sound of the wave but the bay is all icy right now as we live in a colder climate than you. <br />Summer is my preferred time to be at the beach with family for a few days. <br /><br /> I was at Biscane beach FL. in early March 1966 and it was sunny but so windy, but it didn't compare to a lazy day at the beach in summer.
