The Blue Heron is not the prettiest bird but I have seen a few around here. They are so tall with their long legs. One flew into the electrical wires by our house and was electrocuted and fell in the neighbour's yard one year when we were having a corn boil for the whole neighbourhood in our own backyard one night.
