Before air conditioning. Before recorded history, actually.
Thanks, nice trip down a memory lane.Joanne Noragonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09834682329952369721noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19517251.post-27728203181223946942014-06-24T14:11:56.134-05:002014-06-24T14:11:56.134-05:00I like your attitude, Rick!!I like your attitude, Rick!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19517251.post-42108801180115441312014-06-24T13:44:33.460-05:002014-06-24T13:44:33.460-05:00I can relate to your feelings on summer, only from...I can relate to your feelings on summer, only from a female perspective. I love spring to fall...now if I could only get away from the cold Midwestern winters, things would be perfect. I do as much as I can by traveling quite a bit during the winter, looking for my summer weather in warmer areas of the country...ah, summer!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13606590257093666709noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19517251.post-7900858390908025262014-06-24T12:29:56.712-05:002014-06-24T12:29:56.712-05:00Excellent post. When I was a kid summer planning began in winter when Dad got out the Rand McNally road map and camp guide and we picked our route and sites. Summers have changed and now I'm looking forward to retirement summer days in, hopefully, 5yrs. In the mean time I might just go buy some coppertone!yayahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12047536332780197024noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19517251.post-37497018000416092282014-06-24T09:00:09.101-05:002014-06-24T09:00:09.101-05:00mmm, it all sounds so poetic. We didn't had a cottage a the lake but I was carefree to go to the brook anytime I wanted. Something has changed in our Summers, the weather is more extreme and the world has gotten smaller and we're too busy to stop to smell the roses.

In 1966 we had a Red Chevrolet Impala. I wouldn't mind going back to that time if I could.

Time to return to reality. Have a good day Rick. Copper Tone and hormone hehehe.
JB
Juliahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03423754263165266554noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19517251.post-89784507573480523422014-06-23T21:41:12.958-05:002014-06-23T21:41:12.958-05:00This is a lot how summers changed for me too Rick...This is a lot how summers changed for me too Rick...
