A Wash

I've been sitting here tapping keys for 20 minutes trying to come up with a decent idea, but I've had no luck.
Sometimes when you cross your eyes, and lean a little to starboard while tapping the keys to the rhythm to Chuck Berry's Johnny B Good, you can channel some profound thoughts from the universe.
But so far in addition to JBG, I've tapped out Little Queenie, Memphis, and Maybellene without even a twitch of an eyebrow. The wrinkles in my brain are as smooth as a baby's butt.
I turned the keyboard over to make sure none of the creativity was seeping through and leaking onto my desk, but nada.
So, I'm calling it a night. I will leave you with a picture I shot a few weeks ago so the visit here won't be a total waste of time.
I'll try to do better tomorrow.

  1. Rick! That is quite alright! You made me chuckle at the frustrations you mentioned. So that is great by me. Before I read a word I was positive I was going to say, "MARVELOUS PHOTOGRAPH" anyway. Have a nice rest and take care.

  2. Your key tapping reminded me of when I heard Terry Cline talk about his latest book. He would sit down and just tap and the computer keyboard and he started getting messages from Edgar Cayce! He ended up with a new book: The Return of Edgar Cayce.

  3. Sometimes having nothing to say is a good thing. It means something.
When is there ever a time when people run out of things to say?
Even a smile is something to talk about.
I've got ox tail soup in the crock pot with burghul and mince meat balls. They have onions garlic and celery in them. The bouillion is coming along fine and tastes soo good.
    You eat it with yogurt.mmmm
Now that's something to think about.
    Have a good one.:)

  4. Your mind seems to be producing all the time but just like our bodies I think that the mind needs rest once in a while.
Here I can always talk about the weather. We are being dumped on again with another major snow storm, high wind and snow drifts.

    Take care.

  5. A picture is worth a thousand words :)

  6. I like the turning over of the keyboard and the pic.

  7. That's a pretty inspirational picture - who needs words when you have that kind of beauty? :)

  8. When you can take pictures like that, there's no need for words. Simply beautiful!

  9. When you can take pictures like that, there's no need for words. Simply beautiful!

  10. Thanks for coming by the Raisin Chronicles. The picture you posted was worth a visit all by itself.

Hope to get to know you better in the new year!

  11. Great photo Rick. Are they a faint line of mountains in the background?

Good luck with the fishing and the rest of 2013.
    Ms Soup
