It's a boy

We had a gathering this evening. It was a "reveal party" for my nephew and his wife. This is their second child. The first one in our great nephew Antony.

After we ate, they cut the cake. The bottom layer was blue. Anthony was ecstatic that he's getting a little brother.

I didn't have a picture today so I dug through the archiver and found one from ten years ago. I took it one weekend when we visited Desoto State Park in North Alabama.

  6. Happy New Year! Congratulations to your nephew and his wife as well. I just discovered 4 weeks ago my son and his wife are expecting around July or August ~ with all the boys in our family, we are hoping it's a girl!

  8. Congrats in order. Funny folks cannot fathom not knowing the gender of the new one. But it makes planning much simpler.
I love water falls, they always seem to refresh!

  10. How sweet! Congrats and that little guy is lucky being born into your family! I only knew the gender of my last one, a boy, #4. I used to joke that I really only had one boy and then 3 attempts for a girl!
