fiery foliege

The foliage is still not coming in full, but you wouldn't know it by looking at these oak leaves at the barn and a blue sky that looks Photoshopped.

We walked down around the barn to let the dogs get some exercise. The early dropper leaves created a crunch brown carpet on the ground.

When we rounded a corner at the back, I saw the sun filtering through the trees, and these leaves which looked as if there were on fire.

I hope you don't tire of autumn photos because I love this time of year.

  3. Lucky you, you still have such great beauty around your place. Our Fall leaves are just about done but there are still some trees with yellow leaves up the road from here.

  4. I used to love to walk through the fallen leaves in a park near my home growing up when I was a young girl! I loved everything about it...the sound of the leaves, the feel, and even the smells. Back then people would rake the leaves up and burn them...we can't do that now with the pollution laws and all, but I remember it all well.

  7. That's a great photo. I don't mind the autumn shots because my leaves won't change color until December or January.

    Love,
