Let the decorating begin

When the tree was in place we realized it had gotten a good bit bigger than we thought. Not only was it taller, but it was a lot fatter too.

Not to worry, we have mountains of decorations and after I got 1000 new white Christmas lights we began decorating the tree today.

After putting Christmas music on the stereo, we got down to business. We got most of the decorating done today, but our shipment of crystal ice cycles from the Vermont Country Store won't arrive until Wednesday so we'll finish up then.

I think it's a good start.

  1. I stopped with the tree when there were no children at home. Loops very nice, and I'm sure your nephew will like it.

  2. Pretty cool to snap a pic of your tree and get an angel standing by the tree. ;-)
It looks all nice and Christmassy.

  7. I love Christmas.
If you have a hot spring anywhere nearby, Jilda (and you) might benefit from it after her treatments. We have a mineral pool nearby and the price is reasonable at 9.00 per person.

  8. It is a beautiful tree. But then I've never seen an ugly one. The icicles should be the perfect touch.

  9. It's a beautiful, beautiful tree. 1000 lights? Be careful for fire hazard with too many lights. Nice photo of Jilda admiring the tree.
