Mystery

The mind is a strange and wonderful thing. Last night I dreamed about one of our old friends we haven't seen since the first of the year.

I thought about the dream a number of times today. I had a conversation with her in my dream and I struggled to remember the words, but they would not come.

Then this evening when Jilda and I ran by the grocery store to pick up a few things, we headed over to the pharmacy area to pick up a bag of Epsom salts. Just as I came to the turn for the aisle, our buggy clinked on a buggy coming out of that aisle. It was our old friend that I'd dreamed about last night.

How strange is this? How could my mind have known that she would be there? It's a mystery.

It's happened to me before and I can't explain it. Have you ever had something like this happen? I'd like to hear your story.

  1. It's called intuition....it's quite natural for many....

  2. Premonitions like that are a good thing. Seeing an old friend always is.

  3. Me and my Husband were just having this discussion the other day. There have been times I see a person and think, They look just like someone "so and so", and then later that day, I actually see the person I thought I saw earlier. Weird.

    Keep dreaming

  4. It's called intuition and I used to be so gifted when I was younger.
I have had many encounter with this phenomena and I was called me a fey. I dreamt that a male friend was hurt badly and was taken to hospital. That same night he was pushed through a store display window and got cut with a piece of glass and rushed to the hospital. I learned of the news the next morning.

My husband was in another city on a three day course and on his last day I had a feeling that he was in an accident. When he arrived home the first I asked him, were you in an accident this afternoon and his answer was yes.

I heard my named being audibly called at the time my favourite cousin passed away. I learned later that day that he had passed away at the time I heard the voice.

Now my mind is so preoccupied with business and worry about the grandkids and the farm that I seldom am intuitive anymore.

It's an amazing gift to be intuitive. I think that you should continue to meditate as it frees the mind to be intuitive.

    Have a great day.

  5. The mind holds mysteries we cannot fathom. Dreams and real friends are both important in this life. Great when they run together.

Like the bush-hog! It makes an amazing picture! THANKS

  6. I often think about or discuss something with my wife and that topic often appears as if I've pulled it into the universe.

  8. That happens to me all the time. I never know whether I am feeling them coming or whether I am calling them to me.
